That time of year already!

Well this is our earliest bean baking season ever! Just amazes me how it starts earlier and earlier each year! The holiday season still seems so far away in this sweltering August heat, but I've been making and filling Frijole orders this week!
Thats RIGHT! I mean The Holy Frijoles!

    We've been making and selling these since 2005 and they always seem to bring everyone such joy. Its quite pleasant to make these knowing that they will make many people smile all through the year!
  Its a nativity scene made of dressed up pinto beans- the word for beans in Spanish is frijole (pronounced free-hole-ee) so if this is the full representation of the Holy Family on that silent night then that would make them Holy Frijoles! LOL
